Couldn’t stay to rent a room,
40 bucks could not include my dignity,

On hand and knee for,

A hundred little feet have spread and walked this land alone,
and threw into the tail wind, oh, the little that I know,
I hide beneath, the rocks and sheets,
emerging for the witness of my sacred centipede.

Though the moon did wax and wane,
A rising tide could not explain the deficit,
A face that didn’t fit.
Fail to see the beauty in,
Hardened sad, segmented skin,
but beauty strays and horror is her husband.

And I am ridden by the road,
That has no end,
Burdened by the load, light,
Rambling orphans in uncertainty,

I rock beneath the sand and sheets,
Emerging for the witness of my kindred centipede.
